Ben Oss and Beinn Dubhcraig are satellites of mighty Ben Lui. Although the mountains themselves are not particularly distinguished, the approach walk leads through natural pine and birch forest and is very picturesque, though also very wet. Beinn Dubhcraig offers a fine view down Loch Lomond, whilst the Ben Lui looks simply magnificent from Ben Oss. Grade 4/5

With a high-level start point, a direct path and fine views, Ben Donich makes an excellent objective for a shorter hillwalk. There is a little rocky ground with a slight scramble down before the summit to add a little character. Grade 3/5

Beginning and ending in the city center, the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run celebrates the essence of Glasgow: its inspiring urban architecture, lush green spaces, rich history, vibrant music scene, and, most importantly, its remarkable people, character, and humor. Each year, thousands participate in the half marathon and 10k events, pushing their limits while raising funds for worthy causes. Scotland’s friendliest city never fails to show support, with enthusiastic crowds lined up to cheer and offer high-fives from start to finish. Participants also receive medals, finisher t-shirts, and the pride of accomplishment.
