Booking Terms

Please read through our booking terms below. If there is anything you need clarified before booking onto an event, please have a read through our FAQs or contact us on info@bootsandbeards.co.uk and we will be delighted to discuss.

Booking Process

All bookings must be made through our booking form. On 'open' events, a separate booking form is required to be completed for each person participating.

Emails sent to you may be formatted in HTML and include files in PDF format (e.g. gear checklists and invoices) - please ensure your email filter allows this.

Payment

On an event booking form, you will be asked to select a payment method.

The Information You Provide

The information you provide is required for our insurance purposes and to pass onto your guide. We will not disclose the information to any other party or use the information for any other purpose.

Cancellation Procedure

If you choose to cancel your booking:

Booking cancellations must be made in writing.


Block Bookings

  • If you cancel more than 7 days before an event takes place, your payment will be refunded in full. 
  • If you cancel 7 days or less before an event takes place, no payment will be returned.
  • If you’re unable to make a Badminton session, you can send a friend to take your place. Any changes must be made by emailing info@bootsandbeards.co.uk 1 day before session.

Trips Away

  • If you cancel more than 30 days before an event takes place, your payment will be refunded in full. 
  • If you cancel 30 days or less before an event takes place, no payment will be returned.

We do not offer credit towards future events in place of a refund.


If we have to cancel your booking:

Regardless of reason, in the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, then we will refund your payment to us in full. If we have to cancel part of an event, we will charge only for the days that go ahead and refund the difference between this and the full cost of the event.

We will try and give as much notice as possible. For weather related cancellations, notice could be as short as a couple of days. For other reasons, we would hope to give a fortnights notice, possibly more. We cannot be held liable for additional costs you may have incurred (e.g. accommodation, transport).
