David has thirty plus years executive experience of working primarily with arts charities including Theatre Royal Stratford East, English National Ballet and Scottish Ballet. He has also been a Trustee of various arts charities. In the private sector, he was Glasgow Chief Executive of the King's Theatre and Theatre Royal for the Ambassador Theatre Group. He is currently a co-director of Creative Help, supporting Charities and Community Interest Companies, focusing on areas such as governance and planning. He is also a trustee of The Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland, Changing The Chemistry and recently became a trustee of Boots & Beards.
